Welcome to the mainpage of the UniMail-Service, a service offered by the IT and media center (ITMC) for the Technische Universität Dortmund.
On this site you get access to the functions (see below, for example z.B. activation, webmailer, passwort changing) and further information of this service (also see right column) .
The university provides a mailbox and a emailadress to the affiliates of the university. This can be even used after the retirement from university. This is also valid for affiliates, which retired before the introduction of UniMail.
Linked with UniMail are additional services of the Technischen Universität Dortmund which can be used during the active affiliation to university.
Further information, especially concerning the scope of the service, servernames, mailaddresses and name assignement is provided under "explanations", "organizational notes" und "usage notes". News are normally published by a circular mail and on a homepage.
The usage of the functions summed up under the term "UniMail" are subjected to German law and rules of the TU Dortmund and of the IT & Media Center. Further information and usage instruction can be found under "legal information".
